How We Curate This Directory

GeoStack is a curated directory of AI search visibility tools — not a contest. We help you find the right tool for your stack, not tell you which one wins.

How a tool gets listed

To be included in the directory, a tool must meet three criteria:

  • It tracks AI search visibility. The tool monitors brand mentions in at least one major AI answer engine (ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity, Gemini, or their equivalents).
  • Information is publicly verifiable. Every piece of data we publish — engines covered, capabilities, integrations, pricing — comes from the tool's own public website, documentation, and changelog. We link to the source wherever possible.
  • Editor-reviewed. Each listing is manually verified by our editorial team against the tool's current public materials. We do not scrape-and-publish unverified claims.

How tools are ordered

Tools are shown in a recommended order, not a ranked leaderboard. The default sort is informed by an internal evaluation framework that considers: engine and market coverage, the depth of GEO measurement capabilities offered, transparency of methodology, integrations and data portability, update cadence, and vendor durability.

We do not display numeric scores because we believe that makes differences look more precise and adversarial than they actually are. Most tools in the directory are good at different things — the right tool for you depends on your stack, budget, and goals.

What we do NOT use

No crowd-review scores. G2, Capterra, and Trustpilot block automated access and their ratings cannot be reliably or fairly collected at scale. Newer tools are penalized by low review counts. Suite tools' scores reflect the whole product, not the GEO module. We exclude them entirely.

No third-party APIs. All information comes directly from each tool's own site. No SimilarWeb, no Ahrefs, no LinkedIn scraping.

No paid rankings. Tools cannot buy a higher position or a more prominent listing. Verified badges are free and optional for all listed vendors.

Updates

The directory is reviewed and updated monthly. When a tool adds new engine support, launches major features, changes pricing, or publishes new methodology details, we update its listing. Each tool page shows the last-reviewed date so you know how current the information is.

Editorial Team

GeoStack is maintained by a dedicated editorial team with deep expertise in search engine optimization, generative AI, and content strategy. Our editors have hands-on experience evaluating GEO tools across real-world use cases — from enterprise brand monitoring to agency client reporting.

Every listing, wiki entry, and blog post is reviewed by at least one editor before publication. Tool data is verified against the vendor's public website, documentation, and changelog at the time of review. We do not rely on third-party aggregators or automated scraping for accuracy claims.

Our editorial team has no financial interest in any tool listed in the directory. No team member holds equity, consulting agreements, or affiliate relationships with listed vendors.

Corrections

We investigate all correction requests within 5 business days. If an error is confirmed, we update the listing and publish a correction note. Verified factual errors are always corrected — we never leave known inaccuracies live.

To report an error, email corrections@geostack.co. Include the specific page URL, the error, and any supporting evidence. We acknowledge receipt within 2 business days.

Vendors can also submit updates through our tool submission form or claim their listing for direct edit access.

Editorial Independence

No pay-to-play. Tool vendors do not and cannot pay for placement, ranking, or more prominent positioning in the directory. The recommended order is determined by our editorial evaluation framework, not by commercial relationships.

Free verification. The "Verified" badge is free for all vendors. It requires placing a GeoStack badge on the vendor's website, which we periodically re-check. It does not cost anything and does not influence editorial positioning.

No affiliate commissions. We do not earn commissions or referral fees from tool sign-ups, subscriptions, or purchases made through links on our site. There are no incentives to promote any specific tool.

Open submissions. Any GEO monitoring tool can submit a listing for free. Submitted tools are editor-reviewed against the same criteria as all other listings.
